The Perfect Pairing: Dads and Cheese
Still wondering what to get your dad for Father's Day? This year, surprise him with a cheese collection from Beecher's Handmade Cheese.
For cheeses assembled to match the warm weather and sunny afternoons, go with our distinctive seasonal Summer Cheese Collection.
The cheeses include a fresh mozzarella, Bellwether Farms San Andreas sheep's milk cheese, and our own award-winning, one-year aged Flagship. The Collection also includes a Pear Fruit Paste, a vibrantly flavored spread to accompany the delicious cheeses.
If dad loves a broad assortment of cheeses ideal for layering on grilled burgers, tossing in green salads, or spooning over desserts, then our Beecher's Finest cheese collection is ideal. This collection serves up five different Beecher's cheeses and comes with our buttery crackers and a cheese knife to help layer on the cheese.
Serve these collections with dad's favorite craft beer and you'll have a Father's Day gift that is sure to impress.
* The Summer Cheese Collection is available June through August. In order to have a cheese collection arrive by Father's Day, orders must be placed by midnight PST Monday, 6/12, for Tuesday shipping.
Ready Your Menu for the 4th of July
Here at Beecher's, it's tough to get Kurt Beecher Dammeier to cook up anything that doesn't have cheese in it, so you can bet he'll be incorporating cheese into his 4th of July menu.
Below are some simple ideas from his table to yours on how you can use cheese to create full flavored 4th of July dishes:
Top your grilled burger with Beecher's No Woman. The cheese is spiked with Jamaican jerk spices which soak right into the burger when it's melted over the top.
Mix grated Flagship cheese directly into your potato salad.
Chop up a handful of Plain Curds and mix them into your beef or turkey patty before you grill.
Our Pure Food Commitment
At Beecher's, we're commited to providing all-natural, full-flavored food that is free of artificial preservatives, coloring and flavor enhancers.
As part of our commitment, every month we highlight information about food additives, including what food additives are and how the food industry first began incorporating additives into food products.
If you have any questions or feedback on this information, feel free to contact us.

RECIPE
Cedar Grilled Apricots with Honey Blank Slate
Serves 4
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus extra for garnish
4 apricots, skinned, halved, and pitted
3/4 cup Beecher's Honey Blank Slate
Soak the cedar planks in water for at least one hour before using them.
Place the apricots in a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the orange juice, white wine, lemon juice, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour the mixture over the apricots. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
While the apricots marinate, prepare your grill by scraping it, oiling it, and heating it to low.
Place the apricots cut side up on the plank. Close the lid and grill for 12 to 14 minutes or until the apricots are hot and the cut side has caramelized. Remove from the heat.
To serve, place three apricot halves on a plate, cut side up. Spoon 1 tablespoon of Blank Slate into the center of each half. Sprinkle the extra cinnamon over the top.
