Beecher's Handmade Cheese Welcomes Sister Company, Bennett's Pure Food Bistro
When Kurt Beecher Dammeier opened Beecher's Handmade Cheese four years ago, it was based on his personal philosophy and commitment to deliver products that are "free of all artificial preservatives, coloring and flavor enhancers... just pure, all-natural, full-flavored food, handcrafted in traditional ways with the freshest ingredients available."
Now Kurt has taken this commitment a step further by opening Bennett's Pure Food Bistro, an all-natural, northwest bistro and deli
featuring the Northwest's finest fresh and seasonal ingredients. Most of the ingredients used at Bennett's are deeply rooted in the Cascadia region - an area extending from northern California to southern Alaska, and the coast to the continental divide, taking in Washington, most of Oregon, Idaho, and part of Montana. As a result, ingredients will ebb and flow with the seasons. At any given
time, you might discover sun ripened fruits from the Okanagon, Skagit Valley
produce, beef from the lush Tillamook pastures of Oregon, Salt Spring Island
lamb and fresh seafood caught off our own coastlines.

We do not offer any products that include additives of any kind. From our pure-cane sugar sodas to our line-caught salmon, our guests can rely on us to prepare wholesome food made from pure, all-natural ingredients."
Keeping it all in the family, Bennett's was named after Kurt's middle son, Bennett, a tradition first started with Beecher's - named after Kurt's oldest son, Maxwell Beecher Dammeier. Opening night, guests were treated to a welcoming smile from Bennett as he greeted guests and highlighted his personal favorites on the menu, such as Beecher's "World's Best" Mac & Cheese and the Bennett's Burger. The Bennett's menu also offers an incomparable cheese selection that features a broad assortment of Northwest artisan cheeses. You'll find Beecher's award-winning cheeses on the menu, along with favorites from Willamette Valley Cheese Company, Juniper Grove, Rogue Creamery, and others.
